NSGIC has announced the keynote panel for its upcoming summit. Powering Civic Engagement With GIS will allow participants to hear from three prominent democracy not-for-profits on how spatial information unlocks opportunity for them.
The panel features Jeanette Senecal, Donny Bridges, and Maria Bianchi from League of Women Voters of the United States, Center for Tech and Civic Life, and Democracy Works, respectively.
Other program highlights include a working session to review and discuss draft model state statute designed to fully support the integration of GIS in elections and a social event for networking.
Each year, the Elections GeoSummit brings together the nation’s leaders in elections management and geographic information systems (GIS) to share leading-edge findings and craft best practices to enhance election systems.
This year’s event will be held virtually, on Thursday, December 10, 1 – 5 p.m., ET. Registration is free and required, using this link.
