Each year, the Elections GeoSummit brings together the nation’s leaders in elections management and geographic information systems (GIS) to share leading-edge findings and craft best practices to enhance election systems.
This year’s event will be held virtually, on Thursday, December 10, 1 – 5 p.m., ET.
The program promises a keynote panel with group discussion and programming on topics including how to build state statute to fully support the integration of GIS in elections. A social event for networking will also be included. The 2019 event featured keynote speaker Meagan Wolfe, Administrator, Wisconsin Elections Commission, while a recent NSGIC webinar featured EAC Chairman Benjamin Hovland. A keynote speaker or speakers for this year’s event will be announced shortly.
Registration is free and required. Join NSGIC’s Geo-Enabled Elections project’s email list, on this website, to receive an invite and registration information in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, please save the date, December 10, 1 – 5 p.m., ET. for the Elections GeoSummit.
