NSGIC and CTCL are proud to announce the on-demand version of the Geo-Enabled Elections training series. Over 300 election officials and GIS professionals participated when the live trainings launched in the spring. Now, the five free 45-minute sessions are available on demand, online, anytime, anywhere, enabling state and local officials to learn how to use geographic information systems (GIS) to increase the accuracy and reliability of election data.
The series is self-paced, which means busy professionals can tune in any time their schedules allow.
The courses will help election officials and other state and local staff:
- Explore key concepts, terms, examples, and potential partners with case studies from local and state officials
- Implement best practices for developing, maintaining, and sharing geospatial information
- Audit precinct assignment accuracy so the right ballot gets to the right voter
